Some tips
To speed up the claims process, make sure to have the following items on hand:
- Your insurance policy and policy number
- Date of the event
- Details and circumstances surrounding the claim
- A joint report filled out with the third party during an accident involving your vehicle (if you don’t have a joint report form, you can ask your broker to send you one)
- Pen and paper to write down certain important information, such as the contact information for the people assigned to your claim
